The Virtues of Reciting Surah Al-Mulk | New York
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be satisfied with him) revealed:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "There is a Surah in the Qur'an which contains thirty Ayat which continued mediating for a man until his wrongdoings are excused. This Surah is 'Honored is He in Whose Hand is the domain.' (Surat Al-Mulk 67)." [At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud]
So as we can see from the Hadith above, Surah Al-Mulk will mediate for its reciter (the individual who discusses it regularly) on the Day of Judgment until its reciter is excused by Allah (SWT).
Yahya identified with me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Humayd ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf had revealed to him that Surat al-Ikhlas (Surah 112) was equivalent to 33% of the Qur'an, and that Surah al-Mulk (Surah 67) argued for its proprietor. [Muwatta Malik]
Described Ibn 'Abbas: "One of the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) set up a tent upon a grave without realizing that it was a grave. At the point when he understood that is was an individual's grave, he discussed Surat Al-Mulk until its finishing. At that point he went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) [Indeed] I raised my tent without understanding that it was upon a grave. So when I understood there was an individual in it I presented Surat Al-Mulk until its fruition.' So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It (Surah Al-Mulk) is a counteraction, it is a salvation conveying from the discipline of the grave.'" [Tirmidhi]
Based off the Hadith above, Surah Al-Mulk is additionally a counteraction, and salvation conveying from the discipline of the grave.
Perusing Surat al-Mulk shields a Muslim from the preliminaries of the grave, yet how regularly does one need to understand it? When daily or more? What is implied is that an individual should peruse it consistently, act as per the decisions contained in it, and put stock in the data referenced in it.
It was portrayed that 'Abd-Allah ibn Mas'ud said: Whoever peruses Tabaarak allaahi bi yadihi'l-mulk [i.e., Soorat al-Mulk] consistently, Allah will shield him from the torture of the grave. At the hour of the Messenger of Allah (harmony and gifts of Allah arrive) we used to call it al-maani'ah (that which ensures). In the Book of Allah it is a Surah which, whoever recounts it consistently has done quite well.
Described by al-Nasaa'i, 6/179; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb wa'l-Tarheeb, 1475.
The researchers of the Standing Committee said: On this premise there is the expectation that whoever puts stock in this Surah and peruses it routinely, looking for the joy of Allah, learning the exercises contained in it and acting as per the decisions contained in that, it will mediate for him [in the Hereafter].
